This is a photo I took wandering the streets of London.

It is slightly cropped, but other than that - there are no correction in levels or brightness/contrast.

At first I thought he was just cool-looking, but I look closer and he's actually squinting or something lol. Apart from his freaky facial expression, this shot is absolutely beautiful. The contrast is awesome and the composition is something to be praised. Awesome work! :+fav:!

The expression he has does somewhat lighten the mood of the photo, don't you agree?
I'm glad to see people smiling on photos like this instead of seeing them serious all the time. :)

It does lighten the mood, a nice juxtaposition to the B&W, I'd say. Yeah, there is too much seriousness in the world... It should be a holiday every Wednesday or something, and people would have fun all day ^^ That'd be niiiice.

Yes! People need something to do midweek, seeing as it's almost the most taxing part of the week. I've always looked at Wednesday as boring, so maybe the coverage would help Wendesday's PR!

Taking a picture in black and white makes the picture look it it's about to tell you the story of the "boring London life" or something, but it could do in a documentury or something where the picture shouldn't be to obvious. Im not saying that the picture is bad, it's not, its very good. But if you want to make a picture like this you have to get something that attracts the eye. Else, good picture ;)
