Artist's Comments

This is another speedpainting, not quite completed, there are just some few, small finishing touches I need to do in order to finish it.

To this stage of the painting I spent about 3-4 hours painting it and it is one of my better speedpaintings yet.
Still it is incomplete and I need some advice from the more experienced digital painters here on dA to make it as good as it can be.

Thanks in advance for any tips or advice. :)

The original size is 1920x1080 (painting in the high definition format and resolution to make it more filmic)

Wow, gorgeous!

I hate how you awesome artists call this a speedpainting. Heh, this is good art for me!

Thats cool... nice atmosphere.. you should add a little guy standing on that bridge or something.. try to work at bigger files.. something like 3000x1400 @ 300 dpi.. you get sharper pics and you can add more details... but thins is a speedpaitning.. so its your choise.. ;)

I am planning on resizing the entire painting when I am done roughing out the general shapes of the speedpainting.
Most of the time I start out on smaller resolutions so Photoshop doesn't lag behind when I am using long brush strokes.

Do not lead me into temptation, I can find the way myself.

oh yes.. i though of that too.. it eats all my ram in a seconds when i try to make the background with a big brush.. :)
but when you resize from a little to very big it gets all very blurry.. :(

Please reply whether you're okay with this or not. I don't want to pirate art. Credit is given to you.
